Sounds like I got the first edition oops model. I will be calling another dealership and checking with the techs there. Both of my trips are stuck on 999.9 and have been for the last 2 weeks.

Just reconfirmed that mine rolls over. Will try to attach the pic showing 1001.2 miles.

Sorry for the bad pic, it was taken with an iPhone G3 and didn't come out very good.

I have the XLT basic info center and mine rolls over also.
I know this because trip B is the same as my total miles (never have reset it).

Sum b@tch. What are the build dates on your trucks? I wonder if it is just an early build date issue or what? Luckily today's trip was only 787 miles so I was able to keep track of it.

6/2/2010

Sure seems like this could be changed, but I looked in the owners manual and did not see it addressed.

I called ford canada today and was told that my truck (f250 xlt)(built 05/10) will only go to 999. They told me that there was no update to fix or change it. Along with the dealer it sounds like no one at ford knows much about these trucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, is this possibly a CN thing with the basic info center?
What a stupid answer IMO!

I'll gladly take a picture of my TRIP B screen if you need real life examples.

my '11 was built in 6/10, is an XLT, has the message center and no NAV ..... both A&B roll past 999, but have 4 digits left of decimal .... this tells me that the limit is 9999.0 .... I have 12K+ on the truck and both A&B are at 11xx & 12xx .......... I have zeroed them early on to see if they work; so they did roll @ 9999

After 3 months of talking back and forth with FORD(not dealer) they finally agreed to look at the truck today. The dealer called to tell me that the ford tec. had told them that this is normal for it not to go past 999.but he did tell yhem that it should reset to 000. After again explaining that it just stops at 999 the dealer again contacted the same tec. His answer was that it was normal. What a load of crap Ive been riding back and forth to work (pipeline) in 3 or 4 2011 ford f350 and f250 (xlt plain jane) and all therte trip meters just keep on going!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even the dealer service rep said that his truck goes past 999. The tec also told the dealer they should test drive another truck to see if it goes past. What an idiot!!!!! dealer did tell me that they would persue this further. 3 months and they still cant figure out how fix or upgrade it. what a joke ford canada is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased a 2011 F-250 SD XLT in July of this year. My trip odometers keep going past 999.9 miles. I logged 1900 + miles on a trip to Utah in the first week in October.
