Buying a 2005 - Rear glass exploding

Has anyone in this forum experienced their back window shattering? Carcomplaints.com has a lot of these for the 2005. There is one close to me for sale that I would love to buy.

No problem with the rear window on my 2005 Limiited. My son-in-law did have the rear window explode on his '99 Mountaineer. Now he mows the lawn with the garage door closed. LOL

Never had a problem with my 2001, 145,000 miles and counting. There are 2 small rubber stoppers one on each side of the body that the glass rest on when closed. I would just make sure they are there.

Most people on the Carcomplaints.com site state that the rear window just expodes. Sometimes driving down the road, sometimes after parking, sometimes in the night. I'm surprised that as many complaints that are on that site aren't showing up here on FTE.
