light and wiper *****

im trying to replace the bulbs for the dash lights and neaten up the wiring so it not all hanging down. i took off the top of the dash and tried and tried to get the part from the front were the gauges are but the ***** are in the way and i cant get them off and i don't want to brake them. my truck is a 1980 f150, anyone know how to get them off?

There is a secret button to pull the headlight **** out. A paper clip or something should be able help you undo the little metal tab inside the wipers ****.
