Happy uh...(insert age here) Birthday Marv!
I've never been lucky enough to have my Birthday off from school or anythin'. But, who's complaining, not me...
I agree with that post 236%!
My grandfather was a Marine in WWII. He was a Sniper Scout.
He may come out to visit soon, and we'll go down to Mexico...
All the men in my family on my dad's side have been in the Military. My great grandfather was in WWI, not sure what branch or anythin'.
My dad was in the Air Force from '74-'78. my dad almost went to 'nam. I am goin' to continue the tradition...Speakin' of which...
That's not a 3/4 view...
That's a full view. There is no wall there, that is the entrance into that room, where there are the original wall "pocket style" doors.
To all member's of the Military, in all branches:
Thank you for serving our country, and God Bless you!

I'm here.
Thanks for the wishes. I've been working almost all day. It started at 0600, and I just got home about an hour ago. Same time tomorrow, too, so the work is welcome after a none for some time.
I was asked this morning why I didn't take the day off, and it's because I never do, but ALWAYS take the 11th off. I'm not proud of simply getting older, 'cause I'm not-so-sure that "wiser" comes along with it in my case, but I am never as proud as I am when I'm recognized as a veteran.
If us vets don't remember the day, who will?
Thanks again, Steve, though it's really no big deal any more.
And, kid, it was 1946. Do the math. The exercise will do ya' good.

Once you got your "full pull", it's just piling on.....
But thanks, anyway. Once you get there, you'll know what I mean.

So we're going to a Shakey's for one of their thin-crust pizzas, and I'm having a frosty mug with it.
Haven't been to one of those places for over thirty years!
Hope it's not a big disappointment!

Thanks, Benjamin.
I enjoyed the pizza as much as I ever have. It's still about as good as I remembered it, and hasn't seemed to have changed.
How-some-ever, I suspect there was really High Life in the MGD spout.
Oh well, the pizza was tasty, and I'm not hugely big on pizza.

Well, yea, now that you mention it. She would normally pooh-pooh pizza, but she didn't hesitate.

That is...unless you reside in one of Buckminster Fuller's geodesic domes.
