looks nice! I'm not a huge fan of glossy interior panels, due to sunlight reflections at the right angles. Dash pads are the worst place for glossy finishes, since it tends to reflect on the windshield......

I've not done anything to my truck, but I am thinking about buying a cheap beater car to use while I have it down for the planned engine/trans swap. I can get an '02 fucus for ~$400. Runs, but has a valve seat that is loose, causing an occasional misfire. Pretty common issue on the 2.0L SOHC. It will cost me around $500-700 to fix, but could drive it as-is for a short time. Once fixed, I could sell it pretty easy for $2500, once I am done using it.
Yes, I have the B2300 that I typically use a daily beater, but my son drives it to/from work 3-5 times a week, since his commute is ~10 miles one way, and mine is 1 mile. He rather likes the little truck, so if I end up liking the focus, I might sell him the truck. Or, might end up selling him the focus......
Then again, I could always sell of the focus to finish funding the cummins swap.......

It's been 15 years since I had a vehicle that had *any* rear seating options at all, aside from the bed of a truck.

Finally got around to putting the door panel anti-rattle strips in. I did the outer and the window guide strip on the driver's door 1.5 years ago... figure it was time to finish it and do the other door too.

Checked my dash that's been under a cut-fit piece of carpet since I bought the truck and figure it's nothing that a can of paint can't fix :

I almost forgot that I pulled a dash pad out of a junk yard a couple of years ago so, actually, yeah - maybe a can of paint! Looks to have a cap on it but in decent shape overall.

No doubt about that. I can see the overlay around the edges and in the vents showing the original color and, underneath, the brittle speaker grille on the original.

Still a lot better than what's on there now and having forgotten I even had it in the shed makes it a bonus day! Having KsCop's restore to refer to in the future will be of great help.

The truck was on manifold when I bought it, I had it on ported all this time until the other day. I don't think I'm gonna go back with this engine! haha. Maybe I'll see a slight fuel mileage increase around town.

Today I finished cleaning off the old foam on the headliner board and recovered it. It was a little light, so I gave it a dust coat of the SEM Camel. Came out looking like brushed suede.

I also painted the visors and pulled the spring nuts from the old dash. I still need to source a couple of those.

Plan for tomorrow is to re-organize the shop to make more room and pull the truck back in. Then it's time to take out the seat, replace the flooring and start reassembly.

The weather is supposed to get bad starting sometime tomorrow, with a high of about 18 on Sunday with ice / snow mix. I hope to have everything in the shop before any snow hits so I can work in the warmth.

If all goes well, I should have her back together in a few days.

Found the part number for this little guy: 45257-S2. Green Sales seems to have them; waiting to hear back from them

This is the headliner and visors

Filled both the fuel tanks, rides like a car with 38 gallons of gas!

I about crapped my pants when I heard the lady say 90 cents off per gallon. Haven't paid $2.67 a gallon in a long time!

The perks of rewards card discounts lol. I've gotten 60 cents off before but not 90.

Fixed a flat on the little truck. Bad valve stem. Figured it might be a good idea to take care of it before the weather turns nasty later tonight/tomorrow. This truck happens to have winter tires on it, so it's my main means of getting around when it gets nasty......

Then I bought the focus for $400. It will need a head replacement, cost about 5-600 total for parts. But, I'll have a car worth $2500, with under $1K invested......
It still runs, but with a loose valve seat, it is literally a ticking time bomb......
Not gonna know what to do with remote control door locks and all those other fancy doodads it has......

Washed my bed out today and took off the tie down brackets on the sides.

It's been used. Going to have it rhino lined this next Saturday.
