TRUCK YOU! Living Large with a Hard Workin’ Excursion

FTE TY 4

When one thinks of the Ford Excursion, one has to visualize an all-American truck. It is a rig that is big enough to carry many people and items with both ease and comfort, and has the strength that comes from a 6.8L V10 motor.

It is just a truly wonderful creation. Whether it is being used to haul the family through the Southern California traffic, climb through the rocks, or plow through thick snow — this is the perfect machine.

Clearly, FTE member wpnaes knows this. He has one of these glorious Excursions in his garage, and it has certainly seen some amazing days.

This is certainly not your regular I-bought-it-because-it-looks-cool Ford rigs; instead, it was bought to be put to work.

Wpnaes has endless photographs of his truck in the snow, desert, and on the roughest terrain throughout the USA. There are visuals of it flexing, cruising, and aiding in camping trips.

There is no denying that this truck has been up to the job!

But it isn’t stock, either. Instead, the ride has PIAA LED lights, dual Optima batteries, a Hellwig rear sway bar, winch bumpers on the front and rear, a 2.5” leveling kit, and much more.

This is an Excursion that has been put to work — and rightfully so. This rig has stood the test of time, and may very well have many years left!

Go drop by wpnaes’s garage and leave some comments, browse the photography, and have a good time! Be sure to keep your garage up to date and maybe you’ll be featured next week!
