SEMA 2021 Bronco

No more rumors and press releases. The SEMA 2021 Bronco and Bronco Sport builds are here to show us what is possible with these rigs.

We recently previewed for you what to expect from Ford at SEMA 2021. The SEMA 2021 Bronco and Bronco Sport builds certainly looked exciting. But reading about them in a press release is one thing. Seeing them in the metal is an entirely different story. Thanks to the good folks at Extreme Terrain, we have a close up look at all the best builds. Do you want a solid axle Bronco for extreme off-roading? We got that. How about an all-out Baja race truck? Yup we got that covered too. Interested in something a bit more modest like a Bronco Sport? We have the details on that also.

In this video posted to the Extreme Terrain Bronco YouTube channel you will get to see all the details of these special builds. Sure, the Bronco Desert Racer might be a little bit of a stretch for your budget. However, a lot of the modifications you see here are available directly from your Ford dealer. And they won’t cost you quarter of a million dollars. Without further delay let’s take a look at a few of our favorites.

Bronco Solid Axle Swap

Solid Axle Bronco

The new Bronco has an independent front suspension which helps with the on-road manners. However, if you want to do some hardcore off-roading it is tough to beat a solid axle setup. That is exactly what this Bronco is packing. Up front is the tried-and-true Dana 60 front axle. This Bronco also has several inches of lift that allow a set of 40-inch Mickey Thompson Baja tires to fit underneath. This is all set off with a killer retro paint scheme.

Bronco Fun Runner

SEMA 2021 Bronco

You can’t spell Fun Runner without Fun. And this build is all about fun. It has a different look thanks to the special RTR bumper and grille. But the biggest visual impact has to be courtesy of the huge fender flares. They not only look cool but will allow you to push some serious wheel offset. The RTR upgrades continue with rock sliders, badging and a set of RTR beadlock wheels. On the inside there is a striking set of leather-covered Recaro seats. This is a capable and good-looking Bronco.

BDS Fire Truck

BDS Fire Truck

This Bronco is ready for duty with a 4-inch BDS lift kit and sits on 37-inch tires. The bronze wheels and red paint give this rig a retro Bronco flair. And of course, this is designed to look at home in at your local fire station. So, the roof rack and back rack are stuffed full of fire fighting gear. Most of us have loved fire trucks since we were kids, and this Bronco makes it easy to understand why.

Baja Forged

Baja Forged Bronco

The BDS fire truck is all about being bright and visible. This Baja Forged Bronco goes the other way with a subtle olive-green paint job. In fact, the whole Bronco is subtle. The front and rear Baja Forged bumpers are slim and simple. The ICON suspension components strong and beefy. The Method wheels are wrapped in the excellent Nitto Recon Grappler A/T tires. This is not the most over the top Bronco build for sure. However, it is a clean and crisp expression of what the Bronco can deliver. And best of all this is one that you could easily drive every day.

Ford Outfitters Bronco

SEMA 2021 Bronco accessories

One of the most exciting aspects of the new Bronco is the sheer number of custom products that are available for it. At launch there were over 200 factory accessories, and that number continues to grow. This Bronco showcases how those accessories look when installed on the SUV. This Ford Outfitters Bronco might not have all 200 parts installed but it is damn close. Certainly, the highlights are represented including the very cool tubular doors. Up front is the Ford Performance Warn winch and mount combination. This Bronco is a rolling Ford accessory catalog.

Bronco Desert Racer

Bronco Desert Racer

A Bronco that costs as much as a Ferrari Portofino? You better believe it. But while the Portofino is the entry-level Ferrari, the Bronco Desert Racer is the King of all Broncos (click HERE listen to it roar). This is a legit Baja 1000 race truck. Let’s be clear. This doesn’t have the wheels and tires of a Baja racer to make it look like it can compete in the race. No, no. This is the real deal. You buy this rig and all you need to do is add fuel and you are ready for Baja. Obviously, it is not meant for everyone, but it is super cool that Ford even offers something like this.

Bronco Sport Builds

Bronco Sport

On the other end of the scale are a handful of Bronco Sport builds. Baja Forged is responsible for the LGE Bronco Sport. It is built in a similar manner as their big Bronco build but obviously in a smaller package. The CGS Bronco Sport is a modest build with only minor tweaks. But it does have a very cool metal flake paint job that makes it stand out. But our favorite of the Bronco Sport builds might be the Freewheeling Bronco Sport. It has many Ford accessories installed but the highlight is the epic retro graphics package.
