Regular-cab F-150 Rocks Georgia with Coyote Power

Coyote Ford F-150

Turning up to rock the quarter-mile, white F-150 with short bed, regular cab packing a bigger punch than its work clothes suggest.

The F-150 can do so much, and be so much. First and foremost, it’s a truck. It’s built to haul all the things, and do all the dirty jobs. Dings? Dents? Just another day of hard work. Then, you add a few amenities, and suddenly, it’s ready for a night on the town, mingling with the Lincolns at the club.

And, of course, if you build it right, it can run down the drag strip with the best of them. YouTuber Jmalcom2004 was down in Georgia for some quarter-mile action when he captured a regular-cab, short-bed, all-white F-150 rolling up to the light. It may have been wearing its work clothes, but this Ford was down for a fight.

First up for the F-150, a dinky Chevy Blazer two-door pulled up to the tree to take the big Ford on. However, the gray Chevy bounced three times on the way to the finish. Meanwhile, the white knight kept it together with its Coyote 5.0-liter V8, taking the green light for the win.

You know what they say: “Cautions breed cautions.” Thus, a yellow fifth-gen F-100 dubbed “Caution Lap” arrived next to battle. It must’ve thrown some bad magic at the white F-150, though. As soon as the light went green, the yellow Ford ran away with the win, while the white one gave up the ghost. Not sure what happened, but alas, you can’t beat Grandpa at checkers all the time.

Finally, as the F-150 rolls up to the light to go up against a square-body Chevy, panic sets in. Turns out a random screw and washer was under the Ford, causing those outside to wonder if something fell off.

Upon confirming it wasn’t from his F-150, the driver sets off to another win. While it couldn’t get the yellow F-100, it did score some big wins over the General. Not a bad day out down in Georgia on an early fall day for this hard-workin’ fleet special.
