Do You Have Ford Explorer Platinum Questions?
The Ford Explorer is the country’s best selling sport-utility vehicle. It’s loved by nearly everyone that has driven it, and is completely new for the 2016 model year. One of the biggest changes is the addition of a high-end trim designed to be the most opulent Ford Explorer ever sold. Next week, we get to spend a couple of days with one, along with the ears of Ford’s Explorer team to get the low-down on the high-end. What do you want to know?
We’re flying to Kamloops, British Columbia on Tuesday to spend some time driving through Canada’s most picturesque locations as we drive two solid days into Calgary, Alberta, During this time we’ll be stopping for some epic photographs, eating some poutine, and trying to avoid getting into fights with bears. But we’ll also be making sense of the $52,600 (starting MSRP) Ford.
We’ll be sure to sample the Sony sound system specifically designed for the vehicle, with some audio that isn’t compressed to crap.
But we’ll also be curious as to why Ford decided to build such an opulent sport utility vehicle with a blue oval on the bonnet. Are they shooting the Lincoln brand in the foot by offering this SUV? It’s a question we hope to be able to answer.
