HOT DOG Watch Explorer Interceptor Reveal in Slow Motion
Last week at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show, Ford unveiled their new Police Interceptor Utility based on the new Ford Explorer platform.
But the real star of the show was Keegan, the dog who pulled the covers off of the Interceptor Utility in front of the world’s automotive press.
Were you not there for the reveal, or are you interested in seeing more of the adorable Keegan? Check out this video below that shows Keegan, a 3-year-old female Malinois, pulling the cover off the Police Interceptor Utility in slow motion. That’s right kids, slow motion!

The debut generated a lot of buzz around the media and also around the auto show attendees. It was a unique and very appropriate way to show off the vehicle and to get people to talk about it. Plus, you cannot deny the cuteness of the dog.
The new Police Interceptor Utility also has some new innovations that were developed with Ford’s Police Advisory Board. If someone approaches from the rear of the vehicle, the car will roll up the windows and lock the doors automatically.
Will we see more dogs helping unveil cars in the future? Who knows? But the results speak for themselves with Ford’s utility team. The Police Interceptor Utility might not have received as much press as it did if it weren’t for the lovable Keegan showing it off.
