ISSUE:

Non-engagement of the front axle (4X4), "clicking" and "grinding" heard during 4X4 engagement, and/or "clicking" heard while driving straight or in a LH turn in 4X2 engagement may occur on some vehicles. This may be caused by axial thrust loads on the shift fork assembly.
