ISSUE:

Some 2009-2010 F-150 vehicles equipped with a 4.6L 2V, 4.6L 3V or 5.4L 3V engine, 2009-2011 Expedition/Navigator and E-Series vehicles built on or before 4/15/2010, 2010 F-150 vehicles equipped with a 6.2L engine, 2009-2011 Escape and Mariner equipped with a Hybrid-Atkinson 2.5L, 2010-2011 Fusion and Milan equipped with a Hybrid-Atkinson 2.5L, 2011 MKZ equipped with a Hybrid-Atkinson 2.5L and F-Super Duty 250/350 vehicles equipped with a 6.2L engine and built on or before 11/1/2010, may exhibit an audible clicking noise in the engine compartment and/or diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P0171, P0174, P0316, P0442, P0455, P0456, P0457, P144A, P1450. Vehicles equipped with a Hybrid-Atkinson 2.5L may also exhibit DTC P1A0C.
