To do this, put your hitch on the sleeve and pin it. Then measure the distance from the pin on your 2.5" hitch mount to the spare tire that sits right behind it. Transfer that measure to the sleeve/hitch set up shown in the picture and cut the excess 2" form board to equal that measurement you took from inside the 2.5 receiver on the truck.
