Well, Finally got the call that the truck was in! Headed down to pick it up.

2017 250, CC, SRW, Max Cap Tow, Platinum Ultimate.

Literally the only thing I cared about was whether it fits in the garage. I had already test drove one so I knew what to expect, not to mention I have read everyone's first impressions.

Here are the garage pics. It is alittle intimidating to park this thing when you know how close the tolerances are. The worst is the antenna. It sounds like its going to break off. Every truck Ive had, the antenna rubbed on the door. This one actually gets caught on the door and looks like its going to snap.

The antennas are pretty tough. A few years ago i had truck with a 5 inch lift and 36" tires and it would slap the antenna every time i pulled into the garage. I was scared it would eventually break, but it never did.

Yes the door is a 7 footer. I think you would be perfect with an 8 footer.

GREAT looking SD!!

I started a thread sometime back about the height of the NEW SD. My concern is being able to drive it into the garage with a 7ft door. So...at 84 inches...the new SD's are 82 inches. Just so close for comfort. LOL!!

I park out side, but oil changes and maintenance I like doing in the garage.

This is my biggest concern going to the new SD.

We got our first snow today and dang was it cold out. So i had to put the molded mudflaps on this morning at 5am before work! I sure was glad that it fit in the garage!

I bet!!

Now I regret not going with the 8ft garage doors when we had our custom home built last year!

It wasn't in the plan when we configured the house, but the builder asked on the day the framing was being done...at no additional charge. I had a 15 minute window to answer...and went traditional at 7ft.

We went 7'-6" on ours. Builder said his 3/4 ton truck (Chevy ) fits in his 7'-6" with ladder racks, so I figured that'd be good for me. It is, with plenty of room to spare. It's 10' wide, so plenty of room for the big dumbo mirrors too.

Sweet ride looks awesome!!

Many happy 😊 miles.
Very happy for you!

You still have enough room to park 1/4 smart 🚗 in front of it.

careful with that antenna.
there was a pick of an F150 that had the antenna ripped out by a car wash. caused $6K worth of damage

This is what i was thinking. Id hate for it to get caught in the door and get ripped out. Bending the antenna does not worry me.

If you get much snow you'll have to be careful that it doesn't raise you up enough to hit. I speak from experience 🙄

That is another monkey wrench, I had not thought about. Thanks for the headsup. Definitely going to have chip away the snow and ice from the threshold.

I took measurements of our garage. I think it will be as tight as yours.
I wonder if you can get a shorter antenna.
