Are you saying you pressurized the tank with air and got no fuel? I would think you would but if not make sure its not blowing air out of the fuel line, its possible the pickup tube has a hole or is broken inside the tank. Can you feel suction on the fuel pump inlet while cranking? I've seen the fuel pump eccentric bolt come loose.
