I havent been on here in almost 6 months, or maybe more. I had to laugh when I saw this thread which I thought was dead, pop up in my email with a reply.

I think the time interval from sept of last year till now supports the fact that this problem doesnt exist, but is more a user issue over oiling the filter element. K&N agknowleged there over oiling issue, and it has been corrected for some time. I think its kind of related to more is better mentality, which is a wastefull mindset.

My SuperDuty, and umpteen Mustangs, Dodges, and Chevies that I run with, all have K&N. The only headache it brings is trying to find out who has my K&N oil spray can, when I need it.
