I have a 2005 F250 5.4L and with 70K miles and have started hearing the same thing. I was told it could be dirty injectors. It only makes noise when I hit the gas. I have added an injector cleaner to see if it helps. Is anyone else having this issue or is there a bigger issue with the 5.4L?
