Ya I thought it might be dangerous flipping buts into the carb. I had some time to tinker a bit with the carb and sprayed carb cleaner at the base of the carb the idle did pick up slightly I guess that I need to get new gaskets and re install it. where did you blow air into the carb? did you remove the adjustment screws? not real sure that the pickup wasn't from fumes going into th air cleaner. I may chuck the big block and go with a 6 or a 302 I have a 302 anyone know of a 6 I could trade my 360 for ?
