When I change the filter mine takes 6 quarts. But, remember that the filter is remote so you need oil to fill the pipe and the filter. So after I change my oil and add 6qts I run the engine for a little. Then ck the oil again and end up adding anoth 3/4qt to top it off.

So my grand total is 6 3/4 quarts.

I've changed the oil 25 times on my 250 and 18 on my XP. Been the same every time.
