Smile Another update: things are looking a little better

Since coming home from a weeks stay in the hospital, Donna seems to be gaining strength and eating well. She is even able to move around the house some without the wheelchair.
For a while there in the hospital, I was having doubts as to whether I would bring her home, but she has proved me wrong yet again
When we first returned home, she was pushing for me to finish the casket, seems that knowing it is done has eased her mind. Just one more thing checked off of the list of things to do before....... She is making a point to be a part of her final arraingments, buying the flowers and what not, I think she's taking it better than we are.
I told her that just because the arraingments are made, flowers bought, and casket is done is no reason to give up and let go. I think she has decided to hang on a little longer, she's even talking about a trip we had planned for late Oct. Looks like I might have to finish some upgrades on the teardrop just haven't been too enthusiastic about it lately.
Donna's retirement party from JCPenny is tomorrow, 33 years at one place, I don't know how she's done it. We are going to take her so that she can see what sort of retirement gift she'll get for that amount of time. She says it had better be a good one.
