Last week I experienced coolant steam entering the cab and immediately suspected a heater-core leak. I disconnected the waterlines that enter at the firewall and re-routed one of them back into the engine, thus by-passing the core all together. Now, time to fix the problem... I've never attempted a Heater Core in any vehicle...can someone give me a rough idea of the process on my vehicle. I've seen some F-150 seem quite easy, and some require complete dash removal. What's involved?
