Wish I would have known that a week ago! When I stopped by the shop the mechanic was still putting the car back together so I got to watch. I noticed the parking brake shoes we missing. I asked about it and he said not to use the parking brake or have the shoes replaced. Since we never use the parking brake anyway I'm not too concerned, but I bet the break lining has been bouncing around in there for a couple of years.
