Price paying a mechanic to change the filter! The tools are cheaper, and ya can keep the tool.

By the way, there are two 10mm nuts on the outside of the frame rail that hold the annoying bracket the filter lives in. I pull them so I can wiggle the filter, then take the bracket off the filter when it's out of the truck. Squirt lots of penetrant into the connectors and they will release easier.
