Can anyone tell me how the vacuum hoses connect to the spindle? Is there a fitting or do they just slide over a nipple? My esof is on the fritz, won't engage and the HVAC blower is possessed at times.........

have you checked your vacum hoses in the wheeel wells, that run from the frame rail to the spindle. they are bad about splitting and leaking vacum. sometimes the split is hard to see, ussually where the hose goes over the nipple. have a ford day!
