360s were '68 or later, methinks.

In '62 you would have been looking at a y block, 292. MAYBE a 352.

Now highriser heads were never offered on a 352, and a 427 highriser didn't exist in '62. You have a swapped in something there. Any signs of rewelded or different engine mounts?

I could be any FE, but 352/360/390 would be the most likely, as those are the ones as numerous as sand on the beach. 406? 427? Look for cross bolts just about the oil pan rail. 428?

How does this thing run? Will it fog the tires with half throttle? What carb and intake does it have? Transmission?

This needs to be moved to the FE threads, as this is in the wrong area, btw.
