The cost after equipment purchase will be about the same as I pay now for internet and land line. If I go with satelite, the land line will go too because we have 3 cell phones. The weather was a concern that I had, we have Dishnetwork and lose the signal during heavy rain. Hughes says that they have an external antenna and booster for areas with frequent storms, but the $299 price tag would steer me away.
