Roller cams were introduced in the 1992 model year with the same "base roller cam" the Crown Vics had. 1994 they got a far better cam, the F4TE which was also used in the roller 5.8's and later in the Explorer/Mountaineer 5.0
So to get things straight in my mind my 95 F150 4x4 with factory installed 5.0 (302) has a roller cam? What brought this up was the oil & DZZP. If my 95 isn't a roller cam then I want to add an additive to make up for the lack of zinc so critical to hydraulic flat tappet cams.
