Dropping the 6.2l from the F150 has seen passing references from Ford execs quite a few times in the past. Not that long ago Ford wanted imput from consumers on whether they would consider buying an Ecoboost Raptor over the 6.2l.
Not surprising at all sir. However, I think that dropping it all together would be a mistake as well. If the decision were all mine to make, I would still offer it in the SVT, Harley and Limited trucks and I would make sure that the company made a huge profit on each sale as a result.
