On the 73' to 79' trucks if you had bought a Towncar the wheel base would have been the same. For the 67'-72' trucks the Crown Vic's have the same wheel base. Then you just swap bodies and that's it. You have a F100 with a 4.6l pwr steering, A/c, 4 wheel disc brakes and it's lowered. Factory ride height for a CV but about 6" lower than an F100. 25 mpg too. To make the 4.6l run it is easier to use a keyless entry car. Good-Luck.
Have you seen that body swap done or is that just an idea ? I hear all kinds of ideas, but some facts would be helpful . Body swap like that is some thing i might want to do.
