alright with the 5.4 thing any 5.4 will work
in my case i have a 4.6 in mine with bent valves fixed it once and bent again so changeing motor
i just pulled a 4.6 out of a 2000 crown vic with the same motor the only thing i have to change is timing chain cover,valve covers for truck, oil pan for 4wd, intake for truck. but other than that its easy to change
but a crown vic will not help u out with a 5.4 in the truck now
