True "chips" are only used on pre-OBDII vehicles, Fords that had the service port on the ECM, GMs actually required changing of the eprom back in the day. OBDII vehicles need to be flashed with a tuner, anything else is bullsh**. The same goes for intake spacers, tornados, luke warm air intakes, hot air intakes(true cai pulls air from outside) and anything else you can buy from the chromeformance section at Autozone/EBay.
