1955/57 Ford/Thenderbird 292/312 & 1958/62 292 Fords used an Eaton P/S pump. The reservoir mounts atop the pump, but on T-Birds, was remotely mounted on the left fender inner apron, due to hood clearance issues.

All 1960/62 292/352/390 Galaxies, 1963/64 289/352/390 Galaxies with A/C also have the remote mounted P/S reservoir.

Big M Automotive is located in Williams CA. Mike builds destruction derby cars, has some 1960's Fords w/292, 289/352/390 engines in his wrecking yard.

btw: 1955/57 T-Birds w/power brakes use a Hydro-Vac P/B booster, mounts on left fender inner apron. Same reason as remote P/S reservoir...hood clearance.
