I looked into that and yes they are designed be that way and since the slides are not really worn down and no visible damage i think its the tensioner on the passenger side since the chain is really tight on both sides of the cam gear i can barely flex the chain with hard pressure compared to the driver side that has no play but is not super tight. i think the passenger side tensioner is jammed or something causeing too much pressure on chain causing noise against slides until oil can lube it at start up. Have you heard of these tensioners jamming causing chain to be super tight all the time?
