I used JIC connections on all the supply and pressure lines. I even put a 3/8" compression-JIC male adaptor fitting on the suction line at the top of the fuel sender assembly. I retained the stock return line and quick disconnects. I just added an adaptor on the bowl end of the line to connect a hose to the regulator. I purchased an inline male-female JIC adaptor with 1/8" NPT port for adding a fuel pressure sender. I don't have the sender yet, but can be easily installed later with this adaptor.
When your ready to do this project, let me know and I'll give you a materials and supplier list. I didn't take any pics of this project, but would be glad to if anyone is interested.
