    hey again,
I was just online searching the forums to find an interntional truck parts center to get ahold of the UVHC gaskets and a new IDM, called a local one here in Stony Ridge Ohio Interntional Trucking, and he cannot cross-reference the UVHC gaskets I need for my 2000 ford f350 superduty 7.3 PSD Diesel truck, how do you buy direct from International? is there a link to international trucking that we can get ahold of someone directly? thanks again Ron

when you were helping others with the P1293 and P1294 problem, what did they do or have to buy to correct the issue and get their truck running? or that you remember or know if, if they even got it running, did they tell you? I don't wanna play guessing games and keep buying parts until I've diagnosed it, 2 more months before winter then, I'm screwed,..Ohio has been getting damn cold here

I hooked up the AE scan bundle tool again and attached battery cables again. Still pulling the same Codes P0380, P1293 and P1294 what does the P0380 Glow Plug Heater Circuit A mean? I used my Fluke Mulitimeter set at volts and T-pinned the E-Pin(key on) on bank 1 and 2 of the Fuel Inject. connectors and got 17.64 volts on each side, I ohmed the E-pin also and got 2.54 on each side.

2 days ago, I ran all 3 Tests from the GB site you linked me with using my Fluke Multimeter set @ Ohms. Test 1 Results: for all 8 Fuel Inject. readings from 3.1 to 3.2, all ok. Test 2 Results: OL for Both both ok. Test 3 Results: OL for Both, both ok. All Three Tests checked out ok. Not only am I getting the P1293/P1294 Injector High Side Open Bank 1 & Bank 2 but, also the P0380 Glow Plug Heater Circuit A in which I've try to clear many times and even unplugging dual battery system overnight. No blown fuse and reconnected still same P0380. I am aware of the P1316 Code from IDM and the video about the Injector Wiring Harness under the Valve Cover

The Truck has only 117,000 original miles on it, as it was my late father's truck and he bought it brand new from a dealership in Salem, Ohio. It was built and came from the Kentucky Plant as mentioned. So, if your still online with the fordtrucksforum and have any questions or if I've left anything out above please message me. I have not had the truck running now going on 2 yrs, I'm just stumped as to where to go from here without guessing and replacing parts $$ thanx, dReinhart1269

As mentioned again, went thru all fuses inside cab and outside Power distr. box, everything checks out ok, I continually check these after the PCM power 20 amp. fuse had blown, my error. I wanted to mention also I tried to run a "Buzz" test on the fuel injectors with the AE Scan Tool, and was unsuccessful, I could not hear any of the fuel injectors buzz at all nor while cranking get any kind of Live data feed for the ipr, icp etc... So, if I'm getting above 1 volts thru the wire to the injectors but, not getting anything back to the IDM where would I look next? The IDM?

I have been thru everything on this truck testing, 2 new alternators, top and bottom, as mentioned, new glow plug relay and glow plugs, hutch mod. on fuel tank, new fuel pump, 2 new Interstate Batteries, new fuel filter, air cleaner, oil change, complete change over coolant flush to an Extended Life Coolant-Rotella, and before the Truck went down on me, the elec. locks had not been working since 30,000 orig. miles. I had seen a video on youtube on how to do the alum. foil wrap to the actuators of both door locks. That fixed the problem of the elec. locks, they now work on both sides of the truck. Soon after this the truck shut down outside of town. Could this have caused some kind of electrical problem? I checked at the battery for a short in the system with a test light, there is no short.

The probe tester I clipped the red to + on battery and the - to Neg Battery and the 24V circuit tester(dual battery, diesel truck) I clipped the only + clip to the +battery post. Would this have been correct? As mentioned I had seen a response from you to another post regarding the Trouble Codes P1293 and P1294 and thought you may know if I performed the IDM troubleshooting test correctly and if I did, would this test confirm that my IDM is Fried? or do I need to pull the valve covers again and re-check the connections to the wiring harness and poss. do the .25 fix? If I can remember, when I pulled the valve covers 6mos. ago, I did not have that same loose connections that the powerstrokes are known to have, it appeared tightly connected. I took pics. of those and will have to search on my camera or hardrive comp. and look more closely.

My Probe Tester to ground lit up but when I placed my 24 Voltage Tester on each T-pin to each fuel injector #1 thru #8 the test light did not light. Was I right on using the 24Volt tester as I have dual batteries or should I have used the 12Volt tester? So, if I did the test right, I am getting power from the IDM to the Fuel Injector harness to the Fuel Injectors but, I am not getting power Back to the IDM. I had seen a video on youtube, on how to perform this test. However, I'm not quite sure about the tester and if I performed the test correctly. I know I had the T-pins plugged into the right IDM slots but, I'm not sure if the tester clips were hooked up accurately.
