NM5K, my '67 T-18 seems to be close ratio. When I'm in 4th gear doing 65mph the motor is yelling at me probably around 3500-4000 rpm.

I ran my #'s and I have the dana 60 3:54 locking axle so I know its not rear end gear ratio thats keep it low.

pward76, on the top of my T-18 it says T98-148C and on the driver side of the tranny it says: T18-1

I wish we could find a site that has the different T18's and what the model #'s mean.
