Headlights Not Working

Hey guys, the lights on my 86 stopped working the other day. Brakelights and signals work, but headlights, parking lights, markers and dash are not lighting up. No buzzing when switch is pulled on and door open/key in ignition. I checked the fuses, found one popped and replaced it. I don't know what it's for as I have no cover. I didn't notice anything change though after replacing it. Should I start with a new switch? I turns interior lights on and off. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Check for power at the Black/Orange stripe wire, and the Tan/White stripe wire at the headlamps switch.

If you have power to both of these, replace the switch.

==============================

If you do not have power to the Black/Orange stripe wire, check the fuse links in the engine compartment.

If you do not have power to the Tan/White stripe wire, check the fuse panel. Parking Lamp and Taillamp Fuse (15 amps)

If the fuses and links check out good, then it's wiring between the switch and fuses or links.

From the headlight sewitch power goes to the dimmer switch, it has 3 wires. With the headlight switch on one shoud have power, the other 2 obviously go to the headlights for high and low beam. It has nothing to do with the park/ dash lights though so the headlight switch would be the most likely culprit.

Similar problem in my friends 68 Bronco. There is a problem with the high beams switch (foot operated). Try clicking that on and off with the main light switch on.

Fuse Panel

Here is a diagram of the F150 fuse panels if you need it:

Be aware that that diagram is wrong where it states 1980-1981 is the same. It's not.

1981-1986 is a closer match.

1980 is a one year only.
