well, i had found a 49 f1 pretty rusty & missing the right rear fender for $3000 for my dad's project that he's wanting to get going. now i can't find it on CL anymore! you guys think that's a fair price for a rusty 49 ford with (most likely) a froze up motor?

Sounds like a lot to me for a parts truck.

90`s is way too warm for me, mid 80`s I can barely tolerate.
To me that sounds more like a $300 truck, not a $3,000 one. :-X18

Well from what I see it does look pretty solid, not sure I could put a price on it but do know $3,000 is way more than I'd pay for it..Don't think I'd pay much more than $1,000

That truck a lot looks a lot better than I thought it would Rob, since he`s asking $3,000 I`d offer $2,500 and see how that goes. You can always come up but never down when buying. ;)

I'd start asking lower than that Morris, if that truck was going to be brought back to new looking it's going to take a lot of dollars...
