This was described to me as a Eaton TrueTrack. It is not that at all. Is this unit as good??

That looks more like a spool than a diff, except for the gears. Maybe some kind of one legger? I found this, Ford 9 Inch Rear Truetrac Posi LSD Limited Slip 28 Spline [TT 912A587] - $499.00 : JTs Parts & Accessories, Justdifferentials.com The picture looks close and calls it a true trac.

Then there is this page Ford 9-inch Axle - Off-Road Magazine The true trac looks right again. This is all assuming you are working with a 9".

Just found out it is an Eaton True Track, fits Ford 9" and does not look anything like the generic pics online. Shocking!! As for the manufacturers shame on them, there needs to be an accurate pictoral representation as per aplication just my 2C worth. Thanks for the response.

the bigger case design probably is the same for the C-clip axles like the 8.8 and Corporates. So the picture probably covers most fords and all chevy's, who knows about dodge. Just the 9" is different because the axles get bolted to the flange.

I found out it is a True Track. it looked different from the others I have seen because the others were for other applications. Thanks for the help.
