99 f350 no brake lights, please help?????
i checked all fuses and they're all fine,
can you guys help with the location of the brake fuse and brake relay if any, i notice two days ago that the right side turned on very weak and latter it was fine i attache a trailer i just bought, i went around the block to test the new trailer brakes i just installed and when i came back i had no brake lights track or trailer, but i still have turn signals and emergency lights, I checked the brake pedal switch and i found power coming out when i depress the pedal but nothing goes to the brake lights thanks in advance you guys are so kind just by taking your time to read other people's problems. |

Did you have the recall done on the cruise control deactivation switch? if it has shorted out it will cause you to have no brake lights.

I had the same issue a couple of weeks ago. The brake lights were out, but the third light on the cab was working. Turn signals worked fine, but the hazards were erratic. I could not locate a fuse at all, nor does the factory service manual indicate a location. I removed the turn signal switch from the column, and ran the point to point circuit test on it, but found nothing wrong. I put it back in, plugged the harness back in, then everything worked again normally, and has ever since.

Had my brake light switch replaced. Problem solved
