Difference between 6.0 & 7.3 IC?

I'm going to look at a 6.0 intercooler set up tonight, but how do i know it's a 6.0?

The one with the black end caps is the 6.0IC.

Your welcome!Glad I could help.:-X25

That supporter badge looks great also.

Yeah, that supporter badge does look great. Most folks here behave, even me sometimes.:-innocentJust curious, what do you want the 6oh IC for? Unless you get one real cheap, I don't think it is worth the effort but that is just my arsho** errr opinion.

Oh, I started out to say welcome to FTE.:-wink

If it drops my top-end EGTs another 100 degrees, it's worth it. That would be over 300 off stock with the van turbo. Mine still isn't in -- waiting on a boot to get here from Clay. And a few other goodies. :-X22

The guy is selling it for $100.00 complete with pipes, boots and clamps. I thought it was a good idea from all the posts I have read. Do you guys think it's not needed? I pull a 15k trailer about 6 times a year, other than that the truck is my daily driver with 145K + miles. You can see the mods i have done so far and don't plan on too much more as far as power is concerned. Any additional mods will be directed towards reliability and maintenance.

I'm not the most knowledgeable mechanic here, but if it were me...I would definately get it.

$100 bucks is a good deal ... I got mine for $150 including boots and pipes
I will tell u though that I still needed to buy boots from clay ... the stock boots are about 1/2" to short but for ~$120 u get all 6 new boots
