If this was for a 2v, I'ld be looking pretty hard!! I have a 2002 2V F350 CCSB with the 6spd manual. Would love to row the gears with the whipple on top. And my truck ony has 20K original miles!
Hope someone gets the parts for their truck!!!
Good Luck,
Garry in Alaska

Hopefully you guys don't mind me reviving this thread, but if you type in "2003 F250 5.4L Supercharger" into google it is one of the top results. There is a ton of great info on this site so I figured I would join up.

Has anyone made any progress with the supercharger idea for the 2V engines? I searched around a bunch and it seems like Vortech discontinued their version, whipple doesn't want to play, and the only bolt on I could find was the procharger centrifugal (which requires a modification to the intercooler).

I have always wanted some better low end power/torque (2500 RPM and below) for my truck. Recently I installed a CAI and better exhaust which has greatly improved the mid range but it is still sluggish down low which is where I drive it 75% of the time. Unfortunately I am not sure if the procharger will show a lot of improvement in the low RPM range.

It has been paid off for years, I did some math and compared to just about all the current trucks on the market and I can't even come close to justifying spending 35-40K but am more than willing to save up a bit if we can find something decent.

I wouldn't even mind if there were some custom mods needed to make it fit as long as the instructions were detailed enough.

Have you contacted Kenne Bell? I'm not in a position financially yet to take it beyond theory, but. Like I had stated before (not sure if in this thread), they will only make so many drives, so many manifolds and so many plenum's. The 150 5.4L lower should bolt on, then the drive and the F250 plenum and kit should take care of the rest.

KB might be more receptive than whipple, I hope they are any way as that's the way I want to go after I get a bottom end set aside.

This is my email string with Whipple as of today. I am currently awaiting an response to my reply below.
++++++++++++++++
Hi Michael, thanks for the response but if I could just a few minutes of your time, please, I would greatly appreciate it! "Did" whipple ever make a kit for the 5.4 2v? The reason I ask is becase the CARB says that Whipple did for the years 1996-2004 which covers "Ford F150/F250/F350/Expedition" for the with the following kit IDs:

1.WIK-5.4-2V-B-IC ---- 3.375
2.WIK-5.4-2V-C-IC ---- 3.500
3.WIK-5.4-2V-D-IC ---- 3.625
4.WIK-5.4-2V-E-IC ---- 3.750
5.WIK-5.4-2V-A-IC ---- 3.875
6.WIK-5.4-2V-B-IC ---- 4.000
7.WIK-5.4-2V-C-IC ---- 4.125

So, naturally, I am confused by your reply. Please help me understand. Thank you and I look forward to your response. SIncerely, Allen

Sorry,
We do not make a kit for the 5.4 2V motor other than the 99-04 Lightning which is only a supercharger upgrade.

==================
Hello-

Which Whipple Intercooled kit do you recommend? From the information I have available to me, I guess it just depends on the SC pulley size, correct? I am not looking for something extreme just good low to mid range HP and torque increases for typical on and offroad truck duties such towing, hauling, offroad, highway onramp merging, and just get it up and go. I know all your kits do this. As for me, I will be dropping in a camper that is an average of 1000 pounds in the bed of the truck and possibly towing a small trailer. Plus I wanted to go over my stock numbers, regardless. I have the 2002 Ford F250 Superduty, 4x4, 5.4L engine. I looked on the CARB site below, and it looks like there are seven (7) Intercooled kits to pick from that use the 2.3L SC for my Triton 5.4L 2V engine

4.WIK-5.4-2V-E-IC ---- 3.750
5.WIK-5.4-2V-A-IC ---- 3.875
6.WIK-5.4-2V-B-IC ---- 4.000
7.WIK-5.4-2V-C-IC ---- 4.125

I just need a conservative recommendation for pulley size because I am not interested in boost over 10PSI. Thank you and I look forward to your response. Sincerely, Allen

Here is the continuation of my email conversation with Michael Malicoat from Whipple.
=============================
We were going to make a kit and went through the CARB process to get it legal. We made 2 5.4 2V kits both for 04 Expeditions. One is on the owners 04 Expedition and the other is on Christopher Titus' former expedition. Both were prototype kits. We never went into production with them. If we ever decide to go into production, we will already have a CARB cert for them. Sorry for the confusion

I'll keep posting the email conversation replies I had with Michael until the thread ends but as far as I am concerned, when you already have the CARB numbers and if you look at the links I posted above, it covers 5.4 L 2V in all Fseries trucks inc. the Expedition for year 1996-2004, then whoever has the engine and wants a kit that is CARB compliant from Whipple needs to start contacting Whipple and ask them to go into production with the 5.4 2V kit since they are already have the CARB numbers. In my opinion, this is matter of letting Whipple know they have customers waiting to give them money for something they already have paid a good deal of money to legally have CARB numbers.

Hey Guys,

I know that there are many of you with the 5.4L engine that would like the additional performance (HP/TQ) of a supercharger. I have spent hours searching the web trying to find anyone who offers a supercharger for our application but have had no success. So, tonight I emailed Whipple Industries and requested that they consider modifying their current F150 5.4L application to the F250/F350 5.4L application. Hopefully Whipple Industries will see that a few modifications to an existing application will open up a entirely new segment of the market.

If you think that you would be interested in this new application, post up a response. I'll provide the link to this thread when Whipple Industries responds to my email.

Thanks!

i have an 08 f250 330ci 5.4l V8 that is desperately wanting the consistent power and torque and reliability of a supercharger but cant find any made for my truck plenty out there for mustangs and f150 platform but not the f250. Would live to see whipple address this problem.
