This is exactly why turbodiesel trucks have the illusion of having a far superior towing powerplant.

Most people have the broken mentality that if the engine cannot hold 1800-2000 rpms when towing any load up any hill, then it's working too hard and "screaming",or "struggling" to pull, and is a poor towing powerplant. JL |

Forced induction allows a powerplant to make power and torque without revving high.

Just read about this in the F150 forum. Could maybe be adapted to the 3V F250s. Particularly since they're developing it right now, they might be willing to work with you....?

Were you able to get the new dyno numbers with the 7 psi pulley? Looks like I'm going to have to make that trip to OH sooner than expected... 8D

Incase you guys havent check them out.
Bill At Power Hungry Performance tunes Both Gas and Diesels. If he can tune for the torqueshift in a powerstroke there should be no reason why he couldnt do it for supercharged application. Jody at DP tuner also does both gas and Diesels. He did the tuning on my buddies old 05 F-150 with a vortech charger. |

No Matt said it would not make that much of a difference, just make the full load a little safer. could up the timing by a 1 degree.

How many miles did you drive the truck with the supercharger? Did you see any signs of deterioration on the engine? In short, would be confident that you could drive the truck long-term and still have a reliable engine?
Same question also. What kind of Air/Fuel Ratio you seeing while running? |
