If I remember correctly we spent sometime on the Chesapeake, the river was called the Sassafras River, yeah I think that's right. We spent like 3 days just chillin and dropped 2 crab traps over each side of the dock, as fast as I could pull them up we got crabs. We must of had 6 dozen in a matter of an hour or less.

they were good eatin.......

Oh yeah it was definitely in the 70's when we went crabbing, my dad had a 32' Chris Craft Cavalier and we used the go up and down the inter-coastal water ways from Long Island Sound to the Chesapeake up the Delaware and everywhere in between. Now I just putter around lakes and stuff, he was a little more adventurous and my family is a bunch of chickens...lol plus gas was .75 gallon marine and .50 for the car.

yeah, I had a 14' runabout with a 10 hp evenrude. went everywhere in that little boat.

Have a good on Bud.

I recently picked up at a garage sale a Weber Kettle grill (the 22.5" version) for $10. It has a cover and the only thing that it needed was the ash pan that fits between the legs. Got that at a store for $6. I have to agree that I do like the charcoal taste better than gas. Gas is convienent, but if you have the time, fire up the charcoal grill. I did two slabs of ribs Memorial Day on the charcoal. Hmmmmmm where they good, we ate one slab and froze the other one.
