Turbonetics high flow turbo outlet 7.3 powerstroke

Wondering if anybody has installed a high flow outlet flange on their 7.3 powerstrokes and if so did you see any differences?? I have read that the elimination of the EBV will improve flow, reduce exhaust backpressure and help to lower Exhaust Gas Temperatures. Also would the gains be different on a stoke turbo vs and upgraded turbo like the turbonetics gtp38? Thanks.

No idea. Here is a bump

Most aftermarket turbo's will be better than a stock turbo, at lowering egt's and improving air flow and boost. I believe Turbonetics has had some problems with there turbo's that fit the 7.3 PSD. Look into a Garrett or ATS.

what kind of problems did they have? is there a big improvement with doing the ebv delete? thanks.

I believe it was bearing problems, but don't hold me to it, yes deleting the ebpv will improve flow.
