Never been a big Zappa fan.
Ted Hawkins..."Songs From Venice Beach" playing now. He was a beach musician that I saw in Cali back in the 70s. He had a great voice...could sing many types of music. He had recorded a few songs before then...but nothing that was too successful. It wasn't until the early 90s that he achieved any commercial success. I also had the opportunity to see him at a place called Johnny D's in Somerville, MA in May of '94...he died just after Christmas. |
I listen to a mix of classic rock, contemporary country, and a few select Irish musicians. If I'm streaming while on-line, it's usually country.
