What Are You Listening To Now???

Hey Massachusetts...what are you listening to now???

I'm stuck at the rockpile today...the local radio station is having a Christmas Carol marathon!!! BAH HUMBUG!!!

At least when I go home I can enjoy the soothing sounds of Janis Joplin!!!

I dislike Christmas music also...except right around the 25th!!! The local station overdoes it...Black Friday is Christmas music start to finish!!!

Right now...Skynard on the CD player...to be followed by Ted Hawkins...Live From Venice Beach!!!

I listen to WEEI quite a bit. I do get tired of all the commercials though. It seems like they have about 20 +/- minutes each hour!!!

Goerge Thorogood and the Destroyers in the CD player right now...One Bourbon...One Scotch...and...One Beer!!!

Actually.....I just fell in love.

The asteroids galaxy tour

Have no idea why I like the 80's retro sound but they are good. Plus the girl is perdy!

Never been a big Zappa fan.

Ted Hawkins..."Songs From Venice Beach" playing now. He was a beach musician that I saw in Cali back in the 70s. He had a great voice...could sing many types of music. He had recorded a few songs before then...but nothing that was too successful. It wasn't until the early 90s that he achieved any commercial success.

I also had the opportunity to see him at a place called Johnny D's in Somerville, MA in May of '94...he died just after Christmas.

I listen to a mix of classic rock, contemporary country, and a few select Irish musicians. If I'm streaming while on-line, it's usually country.
