So, what's everyone doing this weekend? Besides the standard slaving on my house thing, my nephew races go-carts down at I-80 speedway. We're going to wander down there saturday night.

i'm actually going to come to Omaha on Saturday.. my old roomate from Arizona is in town staying at my brothers house.. so we are going to go hang out.. suppose to go to the zoo (i didn't plan it- would rather sit in a bar all day) then do the family eating thing that night and what not.. then my son is getting pictures taken Sunday morning, then meeting my family for brunch.. then heading home.

Go-cart races sounds fun...

Nothing exciting for me... looking at houses again, I suppose. The one we finally decided to make an offer on got another offer yesterday, just before we were going to put one in. Pretty strange, it's been for sale for 6 months then "poof" it's gone. I'm beginning to think there is a conspiracy afoot to keep us crammed into the apartment indefinitely! On the upside, now I can keep twisting my wife's arm on the house I really want on the Nebraska side of the river... that one has a nice 26 x 32 shop.

You know, the Omaha Zoo is supposedly the number 1 tourist attraction in the entire state of Nebraska... and you want to sit in a bar instead?? lol

i have nothing against the zoo.. i love that zoo.. been there a million times.. (ok so like 20 or so) but you know... when a buddy comes to town, i don't want to go to a zoo, i want to hang out, drink some beers, shoot the *****, watch some sports (Football starts tonight!!!!!!!) but of course my brothers wifes el prego so if she can't drink and have fun, nobody can! boo hoo! :-blah

FTE therapy...That's why we're here brother.....LOL! Well, then, compromise. Go to the zoo, drop off your brother's wife, THEN go to the bar!:-drink

I hear ya... we had the family pass 3 out of the 4 years we lived in Omaha, been to the zoo in the summer, froze our butts of for Holiday lights, then there was Valentines day (how romantic??)....

Actually, I only have about 15. I'm sneaking out a little early. I have to run the Mustang by my insurance agents office, so they can get some updated pics.

That zoo is pretty big... easy to get separated from family, for hours at a time, you could be staggering when you find them from all the drinking, uh, I mean walking, to catch up.... }>
