Clear biodiesel????

I have made biodiesel that is still a bright amber and crystal clear. my question is , is there a way to make this stuff clear and take away the amber color or is that color just the nature of the beast.

I heard the color is a result of the oil that you use. Different oils; Soy, Canola, Corn, olive will produce different colors.

Crystal Clear - are you dry washing?

actually no, I'm water washing with a fine mist for about 30 min and then for about 20 min under high pressure then I heat dry the fuel for about 8 hrs at about 150*. this produces a bright amber yet clear biodiesel.

The amber color is no problem at all. It is just the characteristic imparted by the oil feedstock.

in my 3ish years of using biodiesel i have seen bio in almost every color except blue or purple.
