My LPG tank is a 120 litre with around 95-100 usable.
I will be replacing it with one which has a smaller diameter because the little box on the side which all the fittings run into it protruding into the area the front tie rail should run!
I have temporarily fitted a 200mm offcut of the tubing so that i can tie off loads untill i replace the tank and fit the right size pipe!

Also removed the petrol tank from between the chassis rails and am planning to fit a 96 ltr tank in its place in the near future!

Today I said goodbye to a trusted old friend.
My 94 was wrecked by a rogue pizza driver over the holidays and my insurance company deemed it a total loss.
I have already secured my next truck, which I found in Montreal and will be picking up on Monday.
I guess now I will be shifting forums to some extent. I'm sure I'll still check things out here since my Bronco is a 94 and I still plan to pick up a 92-96 reg cab to lift/modify for offroad use. Yes, I have a bronco, but it was not bought for that purpose.
To all those that have answered my questions over the last couple of years.....many thanks. I have gained a lot of knowledge of Ford Trucks and don't see my self ever driving anything else, at least as far as trucks are concerned. In my hunt for a new truck, I looked at nothing but Fords.

Here's the new rig

Today,I tig welded a side tank onto my aluminum core radiator, replacing the factory plastic junk tank it came with,it was all scratch built, and I made it a little bigger to help cool better,(more coolant capacity)driver side, the plastic tank on the pass. side is still intact, and still working ok for now.The reason I did it was because the plastic side tank had a small split in it,and JB weld just wouldnt hold on the first temporary patch job I did on it.I rodded it out with an old oil dip stick I had laying around, and yes,it did have some funk in it,but its all cleaned out and working great now, never gets over 190 even in the field. If the other side splits,Ill have to buy a Genesis all aluminum replacement, since it would be pretty tough to build a tank for the pass. side, but not impossible.

Just brought Old Rusty back home from his first road trip, approx. 150 miles one way. Had all the problems you'd expect with an almost 20 year old FORD, NONE!! Hey, it's a FORD I got just what I expected. Thought about changing my busted fog light switch & got lazy. Maybe tomorrow. Have a spare switch laying here that should work for now. Plan to replace them both with the ones that light up when turned on. Haven't filled him up yet to see how thirsty he was, in the morning before church. Hoping to get at least 15, he gave me 12 running around here.

Put a new O2 sensor in and replaced that piece of $h1t plastic/composite power steering pully that broke in half. The replacement from NAPA was the same type...made in CHINA (shudder). The puller/installer kit I purchased so I could the broken one off without taking the pump off was made TIAWAN (guts rumbling). The Gates belt to replace the one that was eat up by the broken pulley was made in MEXICO! (Need to take a dump now!!) IS ANYTHING MADE IN AMERICA ANYMORE???

somethings are but not many....

I don't mind using parts made in Canada or Mexico, at least they are neighboring countries - China and the rest of Asia tho, along with India, no thanks, I'd rather pass on their products.
